Revell kit painted in MCW Mauve Metallic. Kit is very detailed and engineered well, good fit with no surprises. I used some photoetch pieces and did underhood wiring and hose details. Tried to use the kit redline tire decals, but they were problematic for me, hard to get centered etc. so went with the lettered side. Disappointed that the kit stripe decals had some silvering to them, sorta ruined it for me, but I like the look better than without stripes, probably decals getting a bit old. The hood doesn't close or open very easily as it hangs up at the hinges and I don't like to force it so I will display it as a hood open car. I am looking forward to doing the Drag-on-lady Coronet.
